Helena Sahm

Helena Sahm’s work investigates concepts within a broad theme of ‘Living Here Not There’ where a wide range of ideas can be explored about how humans identify with, respond to and experience their built environment . Her practice has been described as media-centric and eclectic with her early practice based on a hybrid of drawn and constructed works. She has maintained an interest in reusing and recycling materials in her artwork often combining them with new materials. Sahm also explores drawing media and techniques through a number of themes and subject matter. Paper is a key media for her to also explore ideas.
